La Jeep DJ-3A est la version 2 roues motrices de la CJ-3A Universal.

Cet article est un collecteur d'admission pour le moteur à quatre cylindres à culasse plate Willys L134 de Jeep. Il s'agit d'une version spéciale pour l'utilisation du carburateur Carter YF. Il ne convient pas pour l'utilisation du carburateur Carter WO ou le SOLEX 32PBIC.

Il convient pour des montages sur des Willys DJ3A, Jeepster, Wagons, Surrey, etc. qui utilisent le carburateur Carter YF.

Comme vous le savez, la plupart des moteurs Willys L134 fabriqués entre la Seconde Guerre mondiale et les années 1940 et 1950 utilisaient le carburateur Carter WO. Plus tard dans la production, le collecteur d'admission a été modifié pour accepter le nouveau carburateur Carter YF. Ce collecteur est le modèle plus récent qui accepte le carburateur YF. Il ne fonctionnera pas du tout avec l'ancien carburateur Carter WO. Vous pouvez distinguer les deux types de collecteurs en observant les goujons de fixation du carburateur. Sur les versions pour carburateur Carter WO, les goujons de fixation sont placés d'avant en arrière. This item is an intake manifold for the Willys L134 four cylinder flat head jeep engine. This is the special version for using the Carter YF carburetor. Not correct for using the Carter WO carburetor.This is correct for applications such as the Willy DJ3A, Jeepster, Wagons, Surrey, etc. that are using the Carter YF carb.As you know, most of the Willys L134 engines made from WWII up through the 1940’s and 50’s used the Carter WO carburetor. Later in production the intake manifold was changed to accept the newer Carter YF carburetor. This manifold is the later style accepting the YF carb. This will not work at all with the earlier Carter WO carb. You can tell the differenc in the manifolds by looking at the carb mounting studs. On the versions for the Carter WO carb, the mounting studs are placed front to back. On the later version (this one), that accept the Carter YF carb, the carb mounting studs are side to side.
